County Mayo, Ireland
Originally built in 1865 for the Estate Manager of 800-year-old Ashford Castle, our elegant white-washed Lodge has views to rival the best in the world. Windows frame inspiring vistas out over placid Lough Corrib, one of Ireland’s largest lakes, backed by the rolling, emerald hills of Connemara.
The Lodge offers country house charm, fine dining in Wilde’s Restaurant and an exceptional collection of estate activities. This is one of Ireland’s finest wedding destinations, pairing warm Irish hospitality with a modern appeal.
The hotel will reopen 2nd June. We very much look forward to welcoming our guests back to the Ashford Estate.
From the well-marked walking trails admire the glistening Atlantic Ocean, where you may spot mega-pods of dolphin or majestic Southern Right whales.
On warm summer days, cool off in our two swimming pools. The heated infinity pool is surrounded by serene sun-beds, and gazes out over the Atlantic Ocean, while in the rear of the hotel the craggy slopes of Table Mountain frame the views from the family-friendly rock pools.
Lounger service is available at both swimming pools, with a bespoke menu from The Café Grill offering drinks and light meals. A complimentary refreshment station offers sun lotion, fruit, water and magazines for your enjoyment.
