What changes have you made during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What are the check-in and checkout times?
Our official check-in time is from 2pm and our checkout time is 11am. Where possible we will try and accommodate requests for earlier or later room access. Kindly discuss any special requests with the front desk or Concierge.
What if I need to cancel or change my reservation?
Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so seven days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Should you not arrive at the hotel, a 100% cancellation fee will apply. However, all reasonable cancellation reasons will be considered.
Are there additional charges to rates?
A mandatory 1% Tourism Levy will be charged to all guests. All rates are inclusive of tax.
Who should I advise of my room preferences?
Every room at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is unique, and our Reservations team will gladly assist with reserving the perfect room for your stay. We can also assist with specific service requests; from pillow options for the perfect night’s sleep to ensuring the bathroom is stocked with your favourite soap on arrival.
Which airport is closest to The Twelve Apostles?
Cape Town International Airport is located a 40-minute drive from the hotel. Direct flights serve destinations in Europe, Asia and the United States.
Can you assist with transfers and tours?
Our Concierge team will happily arrange transfers to the airport, or other onward destinations, as well as assisting with online check-in and additional bookings.
Do you offer parking on-site?
Secure on-site parking (both open-air and underground) is offered to all guests.
Can I bring my pet with me?
We are one of the few pet-friendly hotels in Cape Town, and we offer a warm welcome to all four-legged travellers. We have pet menus available in our Leopard Bar, as well as a range of pet beds and amenities. These can be arranged when making your reservation. Please note that a refundable deposit is requested on arrival to cover any damages that may occur during your stay.
Can you recommend where to go jogging?
There are two opportunities, both of which are outside of the hotel; road-running on the beautiful Atlantic coastal road, from the hotel to Camps Bay; the other along the Sea Point Promenade (approximately 15 minutes from the hotel), where you can take in the beach and its surroundings.
Do you have a Spa?
Our award-winning Spa offers a full range of wellness and beauty treatments, using B|Africa and Tata Harper products. Treatments are offered indoors, as well as in our unique outdoor Spa Gazebos on the slopes of Table Mountain. Visit our Spa page to find out more.
Is there a gymnasium in the hotel?
Our well-equipped on-site fitness centre offers a treadmill, exercise bicycle and elliptical trainer, as well as free weights, yoga mats and stability balls. Complimentary vouchers for nearby fitness centres can also be provided on request.
Which credit cards are accepted?
All major credit cards are accepted including American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club.
Where is the nearest shopping centre?
The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront precinct – 20 minutes from the hotel – is Africa’s leading shopping and lifestyle destination, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities. A complimentary shuttle service runs from the hotel daily.
What activities are available at the hotel?
The hotel offers two heated swimming pools, alongside a fitness centre and spa. Walking trails within our landscaped gardens connect onto trails within the Table Mountain National Park.
What activities or tours outside the hotel would you suggest?
Our Concierge team will gladly recommend and reserve tours and activities in and around Cape Town. Popular highlights include full-day tours of the winelands and Cape Peninsula, or perhaps a safari visit to a game reserve outside the city. Cape Town boasts a number of world-class golf courses, of which many are within an hour’s drive from the hotel. The Concierge can assist with reserving tee-times and rental clubs.
Do you have a Golf Course?
No, but there are a number of excellent courses within a 25/30km radius of the hotel. Speak to our Concierge for more information.
What dining options are there at the hotel?
Azure Restaurant is our fine-dining restaurant, offering exceptional ocean views and an inspired menu of classical dishes and contemporary cuisine.
The Café Grill is a more relaxed dining option, with an impressive sushi menu and impressive mountain views, while in The Conservatory guests can indulge in our unique ‘Tea by the Sea’, served daily. The Leopard Bar offers unforgettable sunset views, with a cocktail menu to match. Here guests can also enjoy our bespoke gin-tasting and craft beer experiences.
Can you accommodate specific dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Please advise the restaurant reservations team of any dietary requirements or preferences when making your booking.
Do I need to bring a converter plug with me?
South African plugs work on a 230V (50Hz) electrical system. International plug adapters are available in all rooms and suites.
Is there air-conditioning?
Yes, air-conditioning is available throughout the hotel and in all bedrooms.
How do I connect to the internet?
Complimentary WI-FI Internet is available throughout the hotel.
Do you have a laundry and dry-cleaning service?
