County Mayo, Ireland
Originally built in 1865 for the Estate Manager of 800-year-old Ashford Castle, our elegant white-washed Lodge has views to rival the best in the world. Windows frame inspiring vistas out over placid Lough Corrib, one of Ireland’s largest lakes, backed by the rolling, emerald hills of Connemara.
The Lodge offers country house charm, fine dining in Wilde’s Restaurant and an exceptional collection of estate activities. This is one of Ireland’s finest wedding destinations, pairing warm Irish hospitality with a modern appeal.
The hotel will reopen 2nd June. We very much look forward to welcoming our guests back to the Ashford Estate.
Pets are welcomed in specific pet-friendly rooms, with pet beds, bowls and bespoke pet-friendly menus available on reservation. To ensure a seamless stay, please inform your reservations agent that you will be travelling with your pet, so that our pet policy document can be sent to you before arrival.
Regrettably we only allow dogs smaller than knee height, and they must be kept on a leash at all times when in public areas. With the exception of official service dogs, no pets are allowed in the Azure Restaurant or Café Grill. Pets are, however, welcome in the Leopard Bar.
To cover any incidental damage caused by your pet during your stay, a nominal refundable deposit is requested upon arrival.
