Whether it’s squash or cycling, golf or a gym session, ask for a Sports Buddy to keep you company and show you the very best of our beautiful city.
From single-track MTB trails through the fynbos, to scenic coastal rides, Cape Town is paradise for pedallers. From the front door of the hotel a scenic stretch of coastal road runs along the Atlantic Ocean, through the village of Hout Bay and over the world-famous Chapman’s Peak scenic drive.
If you’d like to explore beyond the pathways in our fynbos garden, the Table Mountain National Park offers a wonderful array of walking trails suitable for all fitness levels. If you’d rather not walk alone, a team member will gladly accompany you on some of the most popular routes traversing this World Heritage Site.

The hotel’s lush gardens and grounds offer numerous peaceful corners for you to stretch your body and calm your mind. Yoga mats are available from the hotel, and one of our Sports Buddies will be happy to share this quiet moment with you.
Guests enjoy access to modern squash courts a short drive from the hotel. A nominal fee is levied for court hire, and one of the hotel Sports Buddies will gladly join you for a game. Prior reservation seven days in advance is recommended.
The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa is situated close to a number of Cape Town’s leading golf courses, including the memorable coastal layouts of the Milnerton Golf Club and Metropolitan Golf Club. Prior reservation seven days in advance is recommended.
With the exception of squash and golf, the Sports Buddy service is offered on a complimentary basis to all our guests. However, green fees, court fees and equipment rental will be for the guest’s account.
