The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are acutely aware of the social challenges facing the under-privileged in Cape Town and South Africa and we are committed to uplifting our surrounding communities in partnership with local charities, including Amy Foundation and Pack for a Purpose. By conserving energy, reducing waste, and supporting our local community, we strive to make a positive and lasting impact on the world around us.
The Amy Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to prevent youth violence through a holistic approach to youth and community development in socio-economically disadvantaged communities.
We are proud supporters of Pack for a Purpose and encourage visitors to pack medical items, pens, toys and more for local communities, to help to make a big impact on the lives of children around the world.
Our beehives support local biodiversity and produce organic honey, which is used in our restaurants and spa treatments. Guests can enjoy the fresh honey while also learning about the importance of bees to the environment as part of our broader commitment to eco-conscious practices.
